Senior Associate from Aspiring Law
Robbie relocated to Wanaka in 2020. He brings with him more than 11 years of specialist knowledge in all areas of employment law and human resources.
Prior to joining Aspiring Law, Robbie worked in leading Auckland boutique employment law specialist firms.
Robbie has experience undertaking independent investigations into workplace issues. He is regularly called upon to advise organisations of all sizes, and employees - from vulnerable migrant workers through to high net-worth individuals, on employment-related matters, both contentious and non-contentious.
Robbie is frequently asked to represent clients in mediation and before the Employment Relations Authority. He also appears before the Employment Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court, and has appeared before the ACC Review Authority and Human Rights Commission.
Robbie is passionate about education and sees significant value in educating clients about their employment-related obligations – particularly sought after due to current worldwide pandemic.
Robbie presents on a large range of employment law issues for educational institutes like LegalWise New Zealand and facilitates workshops on all employment related matters. He has recently written several guest editorials for the Otago Daily Times.
