Women in Business Coffee Morning - Vicky Hill
Vicky knew from a young age that she wanted to be a physiotherapist, originally from Scotland she imagined herself as the physio version of Florence Nightingale helping the needy in the hospital system.
Find out how she ended up owning her own private physio clinic on the other side of the world, despite never having aspirations for either! Vicky will also tell us about her experience as a therapist for a private Everest expedition that ended in disaster.
Vicky has owned Central Lakes Physio and Pilates for 5 years now, employing 5 highly experienced physios with wide-ranging special interests.
Yes, they treat all the usual, back, knees and ankle sprains and strains but a lot of people don't realise that they also treat a lot of niche areas such as vestibular and concussion physio, breathing physio, vocational rehab, vocal physio, cancer rehabilitation, and lymphoedema treatment. The clinic also provides both mat and equipment Pilates classes, running over 20 classes per week.
