Women in Business Coffee morning with Vicki Spearing
Join us on Thursday, 11 November at 10am to hear from Vicki Spearing Founder and Director of Bellbird Developments.
Be inspired by Vicki’s journey.
Best known locally for her high-profile real estate career - there is far more to this entrepreneurs story than most know. She started her first business while still at school, sold her second business – ‘Balloonatics” in the 90’s; has run motels, raised a family, and within five years of starting in real estate, was a 50% owner of the Harcourts Wanaka office.
It hasn’t been a linear journey of success. In her own words, "It’s been a roller coaster ride". Burnout, separation, liquidation, and epic dating failures, are just some of the challenges she feels have helped her to become the woman she is proud to be today.
A passionate advocate for the environment, Vicki founded Bellbird Developments in 2019 - to challenge traditional models of property development. A strong believer, and advocate of ‘doing business for good’, she is the first property developer in NZ to offer financial incentives to people to build high performing, lower carbon emitting homes.
Her mission is to inspire other businesses to consider their social and environmental impacts - as well as profit!
If you're in the mood for a genuine, heartfelt conversation about real life, real situations, and the lessons learnt along the way...... then take your seat. You'll leave feeling encouraged, (and validated) in your own journey towards the best version of yourself.
Tea, coffee and world-famous Edgewater scones provided.
