February B@5 b.social
Inspired by Edward Lorenz's Butterfly Effect; 'small changes can cause great effects’, b.effect’s philosophy is built on highlighting small changes in the brewing process that have large effects on the final product.
And it's working.
b.effect was founded in 2015 by James Hay to fill the need for quality craft beers in Wanaka that can be enjoyed out on the lake, up the mountains, or after a ride through Sticky Forest. b.effect’s signature Wanaka Lager, Pop’n Pils, Press Send Pale Ale, and their Hazy IPA all come in cans for convenience and to help be as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible.
After brewing offsite in Dunedin and then managing operations from a number of containers, James opened his brewery on Anderson Road at the end of November. He joined forces with fellow local entrepreneur Matt Laming to create b.social - a relaxed, brewery bar/cafe offering lunches and craft beers daily.
There's even wine & kombucha on tap, along with gin for the non-beer drinkers.
Join us at the new b.effect brewery and b.social neighbourhood bar in conjunction with Craigs Investment Partners for a beer (or wine) and a nibble on us. We’ll show you around our new bar and tasting room along with a brewery tour courtesy of Craigs Investment Partners.
Great prizes to be won on the night, so familiarize yourself with our menu, our function spaces, and how long it takes to upgrade power in Wanaka…
RSVP please to assist with catering and to ensure no wastage.
